If you’re not sure wether eyelash extensions are for you, then you can opt for these trial lashes (trial eyelash extensions).

With this treatment, not all of your natural lashes get an eyelash extension. Normally people have an average of 100 to 250 natural lashes per eye. With the trial lashes treatment only 30 to 50 eyelash extensions are applied. So you can try it out and get used to wearing eyelash extensions.

Because few extensions are applied with this treatment we do not offer a refill treatment afterwards.

There are several names for Classic lashes, such as one by one eyelash extensions, natural eyelash extensions, natural lashes.

If you want a natural mascara effect then you will be satisfied with this eyelash extensions treatment. With this treatment one eyelash extension is applied to one natural hair.

For permanently beautiful full lashes we advise you to take a refill treatment every 2 to 3 weeks.

Volume eyelash extensions starts with 2D eyelash extensions this means two eyelash extensions on one natural eyelash. 3D eyelash extensions means three eyelash extensions on one natural eyelash. 4D means four eyelash extensions on one natural lash. The Volume lashes continue up to 5D so five lash extensions on one natural lash. The more eyelash extensions, the fuller the look.

Also known as SVS Lashes. This is a mix of Classic and Volume lashes, which means that one natural eyelash carries one eyelash extension and others might carry multiple eyelash extensions. For those who want volume with a natural effect.

This type of eyelash extensions is often worn by celebrities. Think of Kim Kardashian, Kylie Jenner, JLo etc .. At Allure by Nancy you can also get this look, even if you have few lashes of your own. With Mega volume treatment, ultra-thin eyelash extensions are used, allowing up to 16 eyelash extensions to be attached to 1 natural hair. This ensures that every look you want is possible.

The eyelash extensions used by Allure by Nancy are handmade from PBT fibers, PBT fiber is a high quality synthetic material. The eyelash extensions differ from ordinary synthetic eyelashes because of the coating with which they are finished. The difference between synthetic mink, synthetic silk, real mink and real silk is the way the extensions are produced.

Synthetic Mink: Synthetic lashes with a natural mat black color. They are silky smooth and flexible, the curl of the Mink lashes are stronger than the Silk lashes and can not be distinguished from real hairs.

Synthetic Silk: Synthetic lashes with a intense shiny black color. They are silky soft and flexible.

Real Mink: Real mink lashes are sourced from mink (animal hair). 

Real Silk: Real silk comes from certain insect larvae cocoons.

*At Allure by Nancy you cannot get Real Mink or Real Silk, because it isn’t animal friendly and it can cause allergic reactions, in addition the hairs lose their curl after a while.

Together with your eyelash stylist you choose what suits you best and which treatment is best for the desired result and your natural lashes. The lash stylist will cover your lower lashes with tape or pads to protect the lower lashes. Your eyelashes are then thoroughly cleaned for better adhesion of the eyelash extensions. The extensions are attached to every natural hair with special eyelash extension glue. It is important that you keep your eyes closed during the entire treatment.

At most salons, a treatment takes between 1.5 and 4 hours.
With our years of experience and specialized procedure, a treatment takes 1 to 2 hours.

A Refill / Touch Up takes up to 1 hour (depending on how much lashes are needed).

During a treatment eyelash extensions are carefully attached to your own natural eyelashes with a special glue. The glue is made with natural ingredients and it does not contain any chemical agents. Even with sensitive eyes you should not experience any problems.​

Classic Lashes
The eyelash extensions are applied to your natural lashes with the one by one technique. That means that all your eyelashes get their own eyelash extension. 

Hybrid Lashes
A mix of Classic Lashes and Volume Lashes. Some lashes might carry 1 eyelash extionsion and others might carry upt to 5 extensions.

Volume Lashes
With the Volume eyelash extensions 2 to 5 eyelash extensions are attached to 1 natural eyelash. That means that every natural eyelash gets up to 5 eyelash extensions.

Mega Volume Lashes
Up to 16 eyelash extensions to be attached to 1 natural lash.

On average we have 90 to 120 natural lashes per eye. The amount of extensions applied differs depending on the treatment and the amount of natural lashes of your own.

Classic lashes
90 to 120 eyelash extensions per eye

Hybrid lashes
135 to 180 eyelash extensions per eye

Volume lashes
180 to 720 eyelash extensions per eye

Mega Volume lashes
630 to 1920 eyelash extensions per eye

• Avoid water for the first 24 hours after treatment.
• First 48 hours no heat such as sauna, solarium, hot shower, swimming etc.
• Do not use oil and oil products. Only water-based products!
• Do not rub the eyes, pull the eyelash extensions, do not lie on them etc.
• Carefully pat the lashes dry after cleaning or shower.
• Clean them well every day.

We only use premium synthetic eyelash extensions. These are tested and do not cause any sensitive reaction.

The fumes from the glue might sting the eyes a little, but only if you don’t keep them closed.
It is also possible to use a glue which does not give of any fumes, but this glue does not last so long.

Glue with fumes: holds for up to 8 weeks (if your natural eyelash doesn’t fall off).

Glue without fumes: holds for up to 2 weeks (if your natural eyelash doesn’t fall off).

Eyelash extensions should absolutely not be harmful.

Every natural eyelash has its own growth cycle. Eyelashes have 3 life phases: the first phase is the growth phase, the second phase is the resting phase and the last phase is the fall-off phase. At the fall-off phase your natural lashes fall-off. Your natural lashes are constantly being replaced like your main hair. So for every hair that drops off, a new one grows. Eyelash extensions do not accelerate the growth cycle.

Only poor treatments and the use of low quality or unproper products might be harmful.
At Allure by Nancy this is never the case.

Keep in mind that hormones during pregnancy can have an impact. For example, the eyelash extensions can drop off faster.

About 6-8 weeks if you treat them with care and respect. Remember that this is a semi-permanent beauty procedure. The growth cycle of a real eyelash is about 25-28 days. Eyelash extensions will not last three months, this is false advertising by other salons.

After Care Products are available in the salon and in the webshop.

This has to do with the natural growth cycle of your lashes: if the natural lashes fall off, the extensions also come along. To keep full lashes, you have to refill every few weeks.

Eyelashes have a natural growth cycle but it is impossible to see when they will fall out.

Normally, every day 2-5 natural lashes will fall off and we don’t notice much difference. Unfortunately, sometimes a lot of lashes can fall out around the same time. If you are very unlucky this can happen within a few days after you got your eyelash extensions.

Most people will not find it necessary to use mascara, because the eyelash extensions already give you a full look. Using mascara, eyeliner or other make-up around the eyes can not do any harm, but only use water-based products. Apply the mascara only on the ends of your eyelashes, not near the roots. If you apply mascara near the roots the glue might no longer hold and the extensions can come off.

The eyelash extensions have and keep their beautiful curved shape. Therefore it is not necessary to use an eyelash curler. When using an eyelash curler you can damage your natural lashes and the lash extension.

Within 24 hours after treatment
Symptoms: Red eyes, slight irritation.
You probably have sensitive eyes and have a reaction to the glue fumes. This will disappear within a day or two. If you get itching, rash, swollen eyelids, fiery red eyes, burning pain, it can be an allergic reaction. In this case the extensions must be removed as soon as possible. Is the reaction very intense? Then take anti-histamine tablets. Once the worst symptoms have subsided, the extensions must still be removed. An allergic reaction is rare, but in some cases it can happen.

After 24 hours after treatment
Symptoms: Itching, slight irritation.
You probably accumulated some dirt between your eyelash extensions. Wash the eyelashes thoroughly with water and baby shampoo, let the eyelashes dry and then comb them. If you are unsuccessful, we can clean them for you.

A few days after treatment
Symptoms: Itching, rash, swollen eyelids, fiery red eyes, burning pain, pus.
If this occurs a few days after treatment, it is probably an infection. Usually this is caused by not thoroughly cleaning the eyes daily. In this case the extensions must be removed
and getting an eye ointment from the doctor is necessary to fight the infection.

No, we strongly advise against that. You can damage your natural lashes. Always have it removed by a specialist. With a special remover the extensions can be removed quickly and without damage to the natural lashes. Never use oil yourself to try to loosen the extensions, our glue is too strong for this. By doing so you run the risk of the glue turning into a sticky or hard substance, damaging your natural lashes and a high risk of irritation or infection.

Unfortunately, there are people who offer eyelash extensions without proper training and experience.

We can always remove the extensions and apply new perfect-looking lashes according to your wishes.

Please come to the appointment without mascara, make-up or creams around the eyes, and do not curl your lashes either.

If you have extreme light colored natural eyelashes, it is recommended to have them dyed before your eyelash extension appointment, but it isn’t necessary.
